As a wife of 33 years, a mother of five, and a grandmother, Kimberly understands firsthand what's at stake when a family is facing a crisis, whether it's a divorce, a custody dispute, or a criminal charge. Experience
Kimberly began her legal career as a Staff Attorney for the Honorable Chief Judge Edgar W. Ennis of the Bibb County Superior Court. Over three years, she worked on civil, criminal, and family law cases, gaining a rare view of how judges evaluate evidence and arguments. That perspective shapes how she prepares every case today.
She went on to serve as an Associate Attorney at Meriwether & Tharp, where she built extensive experience handling uncontested and contested divorces, child custody disputes, legitimations, and adoptions.
Kimberly now brings that experience to Dobbins Law, LLC, where she leads the firm's family law practice and has expanded her work to include criminal defense. Her time at the Superior Court, where she saw criminal cases from the bench's perspective, gives her a strong foundation for defending clients facing charges.
Education & Personal Life
Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University in 1989. Before law school, she helped build her husband's HVAC company from the ground up while raising their five children. She then worked her way through law school, earning her Juris Doctor from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in December 2014.
Born and raised in Sarver, Pennsylvania, Kimberly now calls Georgia home. When she isn't working on her cases, she loves traveling and spending time with her husband, their five children, and their grandchildren.
