Kyle W. Dobbins brings a prosecutor's insight, a veteran's discipline, and a trial lawyer's tenacity to every case. As the founder and managing partner of Dobbins Law, LLC, he defends people across Gwinnett County and throughout Georgia facing charges that range from traffic offenses to serious felonies.
Kyle knows that behind every case is a person whose job, freedom, and family may be on the line. He gives every client the same thing: honest advice, consistent communication, and a relentless defense in the courtroom.

Experience
Before he ever stepped into a courtroom, Kyle served on active duty in the United States Air Force as a military police officer. That service instilled the discipline, composure under pressure, and respect for due process that define his practice today.
While at Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law, Kyle gained experience at every level of the justice system. He served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Howard Z. Simms of the Bibb County Superior Court and completed internships with the U.S. Department of Justice in both the Civil Division and the Antitrust Division.
Kyle began his career as a prosecutor, as an Assistant District Attorney in Houston County, before joining the Newton County District Attorney's Office. As an ADA, he handled a wide range of criminal cases, including domestic violence, armed robbery, rape, drug offenses, theft, and forgery. That experience gives him a clear understanding of how the State builds its cases, and how to take them apart.
Following his tenure as a prosecutor, Kyle later transferred the investigative and trial skills he had refined into criminal defense work with The Drake Law Group. In 2025, he founded Dobbins Law, LLC, where he now leads the firm's practice as managing partner.
Education & Personal Life
Kyle earned his Bachelor of Science from Troy University and his Juris Doctor from Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law. He is originally from Covington, Georgia.
When he isn't in the courtroom, Kyle is actively involved in his church, enjoys traveling, and loves to spend time with his two sons, Liam & Levi, his wife, Sarah, and his goldendoodle, Walter.
